Berlin Sommer
part 1
Last week was way too hot to do anything. All week long, I kept waiting to feel like going to a lake and cooling off under some trees, but even just stepping outside was fatiguing. So I just closed the blinds, turned on the fan, and stayed indoors all through the 40°C heat.
This week, however, the weather was much nicer and perfect for biking to a lake. These are some things I saw at Langer See, near Grünau: some ants, a few ducks, dudes rowing, and people soaking in the sun on an overcast day.
A little note on the materials - a very long time ago, I bought a few Sennelier oil pastels, which I never dared to use, and I finally did this week. It was like painting with lipstick - loved the gooey texture on paper, hated the messy fingers.
Thanks for reading :)
